Curtis Blanchard

Curtis served as the Executive Director for the Saskatchewan Forest Industries Safety Association for nine years and was involved with several forestry employer and government committees throughout his career. His focus has been on operational improvement and safety in the forestry industry. 

He also spent several years in the OSB and forestry manufacturing sector at the management level and worked with countless First Nation on policy development and implementation in the field.

Curtis has over 25 years’ experience in management of large-scale projects in forestry, construction, pipeline, power transmission, and manufacturing. His experience is composed of grass roots projects, fabrication, revamps, shutdowns/turnarounds, and expansion projects that have exceeded over $10B CAD in value. He is also a Canadian Registered Safety Professional and holds a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
